Heart flutters

I cannot tell you HOW MUCH it makes my heart flutter when I hear voice actors bring my characters alive. OMG. It's like sweeter than falling in love. I love drawing, paintings, but I think what distinguishes humans from the rest is our ability to that massive range of speech. Wow, what life! And have a great thanksgiving to all.

And it's wonderful when actors sincerely want to bring a character alive. Holy cow, yeah, bye now.

Milestone report

It was an excruciating weekend writing. Writing is fun, of course. But not when you have to make an entire script make sense and flow.
I sat down for 3 days, without much eating, cleaning, noticing of my physical existence, wrote one scene per notecard - and these scenes have been floating around in my head for months. Rearranging them. Reading up on TV 5 acts and why that is. Banned everyone from eating at the dining table - because that's now my plot board.
Then I typed and revised and typed and revised on a screenwriting app called StudioBinder and realized it does not do "Find and Replace"
Anyhow: SCRIPT FINISHED. Casting auditions are scheduled. Script REGISTERED at writer's guild of america, West.
Super exciting. This came with some entire right gum inflammation that I had spend an hour at the dentist being lectured or analyzed on what's wrong with me.
Don't worry, that knife on the top left is for pencil sharpening.

Baaa

Should the sheep wear any ornaments or clothing articles on top of their wool for "visual interest"?
Or
could other types of animals in the city-state provide animated visual interest? instead of traditional humidification of animals?

Baapolis update

It was delightful to think through with our environment designer today about the houses normal citizens would live around Baapolis. We thought about how ancient greco roman culture is all about "perfectionism." It wouldn't accept the asymmetrical or randomly curved shape finding that we enjoy today. So we have to force ourselves to find those perfect hexagons, flanking notions, straight columns, edges, and so on. Why did ancient people love perfection so much? Perfect body /head ratio in sculptures. What is a perfect sheep then?

I traveled and lived around the world from 1991 to 2019. I went from an urbanite to a farmer / shepherd in 2020, unlearned everything and started anew. I gained the courage and skillset during the pandemic to create animated longform and shortform stories. Always, I know from my heart - a team is always better at the details together.
