🎵 04 — Sound Design & Music Composition InternResponsibilities:
- Sound design for assigned animation scenes
- Original music composition and scoring
- Audio mixing and sync to picture
- Collaborating with the director on the sonic identity of the Baapolis universe
- Demo reel showing both sound design and original music composition for animation or film
- Strong sense of how audio serves character, emotion, and story
- Understanding of audio-to-picture sync workflow
- Proficiency in a DAW of your choice
- Original compositions are strongly encouraged; royalty-free samples are permitted to support faster iteration
- Proficiency in a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) of your choice
- Ability to take creative direction and revise based on feedback
- Currently enrolled: rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in a BFA or MFA program (Sound Design, Film Scoring, or Music Composition preferred) — enrollment verified after acceptance
- All audio created during the internship is under the copyright of 137 Ewes Productions LLC
A Few Things Worth Knowing (All Roles):
- You may be in the early stages of your craft — that's okay. We grow with you.
- Work produced may go into your portfolio, but must remain in a password-protected area of your site (NDA required)
- Academic credit is encouraged but not required — we can work with your school's requirements if applicable
- International applications are warmly welcome; conversational English is required
- No visa required; active school enrollment is required
